Senator Abiru Implements Strategic Infrastructure Development in Lagos East
Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, FCA, continues to make significant strides in addressing infrastructural challenges across Lagos East Senatorial District. Beyond the ongoing 32-kilometre Ikorodu-Itokin Road reconstruction, the Senator has facilitated several critical road projects, enhancing mobility and economic activity throughout the region.
The 1.2-kilometre roads at Dagbolu (Majidun), Agunfoye (Igbogbo), and Ojokoro (Agric area), alongside Ibu-Owo and Jalajugbo roads currently under construction, represent strategic interventions to alleviate transportation difficulties. Apena Jimbo, Nurudeen Owolabi and GRA 2 roads have been earmarked for future development.
During community engagements, residents expressed profound appreciation for Senator Abiru’s proactive approach to development. His comprehensive intervention strategy extends beyond road infrastructure to include education, healthcare, power supply, sports facilities, and markets, with his personal endowment project—SAIL Innovation Labs in Ikorodu and Ibeju-Lekki—standing as a testament to his commitment to sustainable development in Lagos East.
