Senator Abiru Rallies Support for Tinubu at Ibeju-Lekki Ramadan Tafsir
Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, representing Lagos East Senatorial District, used the platform of the 22nd annual Tafsir and special prayer session at Solu Alade Central Mosque to call on Muslims to sustain prayers for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration. The event, organised by the Ibeju-Lekki League of Imams and Alfas, drew Islamic scholars, community leaders and faithful from across the district during the holy month of Ramadan.
Serving as chairman of the occasion, Senator Abiru acknowledged the administration’s bold economic reforms, highlighting the Renewed Hope Agenda’s focus on infrastructure, job creation and social investment. He pointed to the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway as a symbol of the government’s long-term vision for national connectivity.
The senator also outlined his own constituency interventions — classrooms, health centres and sports facilities — underscoring his personal commitment to the people he serves.
Guest scholars Professor Kabir Paramole and Sheikh Murtadho Arikewuyo anchored the spiritual discourse, while dignitaries including Oba Waliu Oguntolu – the Onibeju of Ibeju-Lekki, Oba Muyideen Balogun – the Onisolu of Solu and senior political figures joined the congregation in prayers for Nigeria’s peace and prosperity.
