New Executives Inaugurated for Lagos Conference 57 Chief Press Secretaries
Comrade Kamaldeen Iyanda Abdulsalam has been inaugurated as the new Chairman of the Conference 57 Chief Press Secretaries (CPS) in Lagos State, leading a newly appointed executive team.The newly elected executive committee comprises:

- Oseni Eniola – Vice Chairman (West)

- Mosunmola Olabige – Financial Secretary
- Areh Abdulhamid – Treasurer
- Komolafe Ayodele – Public Relations Officer I
- Abdul-Lateef Abdus-Salaam – Public Relations Officer II
- Bello Akinkunmi – Organising Secretary
- Gbenga Soloki – Ex-Officio
- Tokunbo Ajayi – Ex-Officio
- Comrade Oluwole Obisanya – Ex-Officio
In his address, former Deputy Chairman Solomon Zosu (representing the former Chairman) emphasised the rigorous selection process, highlighting that the appointment was conducted through a fair and unbiased procedure. He commended the dedication of council chairmen and praised Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s vision for Lagos.
“Let us remain committed to the principles of excellence, integrity, and service that have defined our association,” Zosu stated.
The executive chairman of Ifelodun Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Mayor Olufemi Akanbi Okeowo, was acknowledged as the chief host of the event.
Mr. Tunde Akere, the pioneer chairman of Conference 57 CPS, administered the oath of office and advised the new executives to maintain focus and professional integrity.
“As you assume your new roles, I charge you to remain focused, transparent, and accountable in your decision-making processes,” Akere emphasised.
Newly elected Chairman Kamaldeen Iyanda Abdulsalam pledged to elevate the association’s standards, stating, “We will work tirelessly to promote the interests of our members and the Lagos State Government, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.”
The event celebrated the continued growth and development of the association, marking a significant moment in its evolution.
