Steps To Check NECO Results For 2024 Unity Schools Examination

The National Examination Council (NECO) on Tuesday announced that the results of the 2024 common entrance examination for Unity schools, had been released, revealing that 13 candidates received a score of 01.

NewsLab reported that the Minister of State for Education, Dr. Yusuf Sununu, shared insights about the examination outcomes during a press conference on Tuesday.

This year, a total of 71,291 candidates participated in the National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE), which was held across 599 centers on June 1, 2024.

Lagos State led with the highest candidate enrollment, totalling 17,751, followed by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) with 10,209 candidates, and Anambra State in third place with 4,972 participants.

Following the release of the results, below is a step-by-step guide that offers two primary options for result checking, catering to different candidate needs.

Option 1: Using an already purchased token. If you have a valid token shared by someone, you can proceed directly to the result-checking phase.

• Visit the official NECO website at neco.gov.ng to create an account if you haven’t already.
• Enter your exam details and the shared token to view your results.

Option 2: Purchasing a new token. Visit neco.gov.ng to create an account.

• Log in to your account and purchase a token.
• Use the purchased token along with your exam details to check your result.

For both options, the final step involves entering your exam details and token on the NECO portal to access your results.
