A former Managing Director of Polaris Bank, Senator Abiru carried the discipline of a distinguished banking career into legislative service, chairing the Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance and Other Financial Institutions with notable authority.
His legislative contributions — spanning copyright reform, franchise regulation, and critical amendments to the CBN and NDIC Acts — have meaningfully strengthened Nigeria’s economic architecture.Beyond the chamber, his humanitarian footprint is equally compelling.
