SKO Bridges Council-Market Divide as Ikorodu West Supervisors Meet Traders in Strategic Session
The Executive Chairman of Ikorodu West Local Council Development Area, Hon. Otunba Sulaimon Kazeem Olanrewaju (FCA, FCTI) — widely known as SKO — has taken an early and deliberate step to embed his newly inaugurated Supervisors and Special Assistants within the commercial heartbeat of the council.
In a well-attended Familiarisation Meeting, the new appointees were formally introduced to the Iya Olojas, Baba Olojas, and the broader community of market men and women — the traders, stallholders, and quiet economic engines who sustain daily life across Ikorodu West.
Hon. SKO charged the Supervisor for Markets, Hon. Gbadamosi Olaomo, to cultivate a seamless working partnership with the traders, whilst urging market leaders to extend to his new team the same goodwill they have shown his administration.
Describing his supervisors and aides as the “foot soldiers” of his development agenda, the Chairman made clear that revenue generation and stakeholder collaboration are not afterthoughts — they are the very foundation upon which Ikorodu West’s growth will be built.
