Lagos State Assembly Committee Conducts Peace-Building Mission in Lagos Mainland LG

The Lagos State House of Assembly’s fact-finding committee, led by Hon. Oladipupo Ajomale, paid a pivotal visit to Lagos Mainland Local Government today. The delegation was warmly received by the Executive Chairman, Hon. Omolola Essien, and other key officials.The committee’s primary focus was Tapa Street, Oko Oba, where they addressed community members, emphasizing the crucial need for peaceful coexistence and fostering healthy relationships among residents. This proactive approach demonstrates the government’s commitment to grassroots peace-building and community engagement.Residents expressed gratitude to Hon. Essien and the committee members for their dedicated effort in visiting the community despite busy schedules.The delegation included Hon. Ajanni Owolabi, representing Lagos Mainland LG, and Mr. Kayode Oladega as the committee secretary. Also present were Vice Chairman Alhaji Jubril Kolawole Emilagba, LG Secretary Hon. Wasiu Ogunniyi, Council Manager Mr. Wasiu Akintola, Council Treasurer Mrs. Saula F. G., along with other executive members and management staff.This visit underscores the collaborative efforts between state and local governments in addressing community concerns and promoting harmony within Lagos Mainland Local Government.
