Ogunlewe Vows to Leave Kosofe Better Than He Met It as Infrastructure Drive Gathers Pace

The Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government Area, Barr. Moyosore Adedoyin Ogunlewe, has offered a candid and deeply personal glimpse into the philosophy driving one of Lagos State’s most ambitious local government infrastructure programmes — and at its heart lies a simple, timeless desire: to make his children proud.

Speaking during a recent address, the Chairman revealed that his administration is simultaneously executing an impressive portfolio of capital projects, including the construction of a new council hall, the renovation of the Central Administrative building, the development of a marriage registry, and the delivery of an ultramodern administrative complex.

With characteristic warmth, Barr. Ogunlewe acknowledged that he himself has benefited from the foundational work laid by his father — a nod to his father, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe — and expressed a heartfelt determination to extend that generational chain of service to those who will come after him.

“Upon completion,” he stated, “I shall renovate the Legislative chamber, ensuring minimal infrastructural challenges for my successor.”

For the residents of Kosofe, these are not merely concrete and steel — they are the visible proof that governance, at its finest, is an act of love passed quietly from one generation to the next.
